SSL connection for a subdomain

Hello everyone

My main domain is connected to readymag.
For example, site.com .

This one has a record of 54.194.41.141.

I decided to create a subdomain shop.site.com and make a part of it with a Wordpress store.

shop.site.com A record is 189...*

However, I have difficulty obtaining an SSL certificate. The hoster says that he cannot connect the certificate because the main domain is attached to the Readymag.

What can I do in this situation?

In general this should work.
At my providers I can assign a ssl certification only to the subdomain.
so maybe its just not possible with yours, but technically this should be no problem.
