I’m facing an issue with sharing my project on social media. Specifically, I’m encountering two main problems:
Readymag is generating a grey image, instead of using the page’s screenshot as the preview image. The grey image is not visible either while sharing, it’s only in the Sharing settings.
When I upload a custom preview image, it doesn’t display.
The Facebook Debugger also shows this error:
‘URL returned a bad HTTP response code.’
This project is published on Readymag and isn’t connected to any domain.
I’ve reached out to Readymag support back in August and followed up last week, but they haven’t found a solution yet. Their tech team hasn’t looked into the bug either.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues—particularly with missing previews and bad HTTP response codes? Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
Hi @Samus, yes, I get it on all social networks.
the website is www.nvardyerkanian.com
For the homepage, I have uploaded an image, so it has a preview when shared, but because I have more than 80 pages, and I want each page to have its own preview, I don’t use this same image.
Previously on other websites I created on Readymag, I used the autogenerated Open Graph image (screenshot of that page), but now it’s not working.
Same for client websites.
