Hi everyone! I’m working on a project for a job application and want to include a button that links to my portfolio, which is hosted as a separate Readymag project. Is there a way to make the portfolio open in a new browser tab? I’m aiming to avoid a frustrating user experience where they’d need to keep hitting the back button.
if you set up the link there is a switch to enable opening in a new tab.

If you use a mail it automatically opens the default emailprogram of the user.
That is an issue I’m having, It’s opening the email program in-browser even though I want it to open to a new tab. I’m wondering if there’s a custom code solution to this…

if you set a mailto link it should open the default mailprogram of the comuter/device with the emailadress automatically set as adress.
If you want it to open in a new tab, what should open then? Which “website” should be shown? I mean, there is only a mailadress.
I’m wondering why we have the new tab option on a website URL. And with email, the option isn’t available. The reason I’m asking is that when I set the link to my default email, the email client opens in the same tab rather than a new one.

It’s a moot issue for me at this point because it probably opens a desktop email client for those whose default is a desktop app, but it’s a bit disruptive if someone has a browser as an email client.
