Website Layout Changes w/ Different Screen Resolutions

I’m working on my website from a monitor that’s connected to my laptop. After setting up a layout on my laptop, I noticed that once I view it on the monitor, a ton of elements are out of place.

If I try to fix everything on my monitor, it’s then spaced out weirdly when I view it on my laptop screen. I have scale layout on. Being new to Readymag, is there something I might be doing wrong that’s causing my layout to not adapt to different screens?

Hi ya I had similar issue. The way I work around that is zoom out of the page to 50% and then see if everything looks like its in the right place. Also make sure your not zoomed either way in your actual brower, chrom, safari etc. hope this helps! David

UPDATE: I figured it out! It had to do with me misunderstanding the pin function, so on a resized screen, pinned elements would end up overlapping each other. I reconfigured things but I’m leaving this up in case anyone has the same issue.

Thank you! I meant to post an update that I figured out what my issue was. Not sure if this was the same situation but it was only affecting elements that I had pinned in place.

No problem good to hear you got it sorted! Take care
