Heads up to ANYONE using a custom domain on Readymag — your site may be down right now due to an SSL failure on their end, and they will not tell you.
I found out by accident. I’ve been actively job searching with my portfolio URL on every application for weeks. Readymag’s support response was to suggest I repost my site without the custom domain. Cool, great, I’ll just go update every application I’ve already submitted.
They’ve acknowledged the issue privately but have posted nothing publicly — no forum pin, no social post, no email to affected users. If you’re a custom domain subscriber and your site is live, go check it right now.
I’ve requested a refund and will be migrating off this platform. If this is affecting you too, make some noise — because they clearly aren’t going to say anything until we do.
Really worried about the job application thing too, I’m in the same boat. @Readymag any update on getting this fixed please?
how did u request a refund? their ai bot email isn’t responding
Haven’t done anything official but someone did respond. I suggest everyone join me in shaming them on Instagram @Readymag
incredibly disappointed on the way they’re handling this, on my way
