Hello! I’m curious if there’s a way to set up a different landing page for the desktop and mobile versions of my site. I’m really happy with the desktop version but on mobile, it looks way too text heavy, so I’m considering creating a separate home page for users who access my site on their phones. Not sure if this is possible, or if I just need to completely re-do the home pages for both versions.
you could just make elements in the mobile version invisible in the layer panel. they stay visible in the desktop version.
or you could add elements in the moileversion and design it, like you want. but then you have to make the extra elements invisible in the desktop version.
if i need to have two different designs/content for the landing page, i would do this in the same Readymag project, following @neueMeta advice.
after completing the Desktop version, go to Mobile viewport, turn invisible all the widgets (or only those that you really not going to need), and now you can create a completely different page. it seems to me an easier way compared to using another page and setting up the redirection rules based on viewer’s device
Oh wow, I don’t know why I didn’t think about that but it’s such a simple solve. Thank you!!
Yes, so much easier! Thank you!!
