Mobile layout got overwritten by desktop – any way to recover without version history?

I’ve run into an issue where my mobile layout has been overwritten by the desktop layout.

I had a fully customized mobile setup with individually placed widgets, but somehow it synced with desktop, and now everything follows the desktop layout instead.

I’m on the free plan, so I don’t have access to version history (just discovered that), and I’ve already tried Cmd + Z, but the session had been closed, so that didn’t help.

Does anyone know if there’s any way to recover a previous state?
For example:

  • hidden backups or autosaves

  • a way to “unsync” and restore previous mobile positions

  • anything else I might be missing

Or is it simply gone once this happens?

Also, if anyone knows what typically triggers this sync between desktop and mobile layouts, I’d really like to avoid it happening again.

Funny thing today I just discovered one way:

In the bottom right menu click in the settings and “Restore to alst published”

This will restore your project back to the last version that was published :smiley:

Given that you have not published the version with the desktop layout overriding the mobile, you will be able to go back like this
