Pretty straight forward, just looking to be able to download a pdf when clicking a button/ link

To add a downloadable file to your site, you can upload it to any cloud storage or file hosting service like Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. Once uploaded, copy the direct link and paste it into the Link control of the widget you want to use as a button or link.
