Super newbie here! I’m trying to achieve a horizontal scroll effect on a split two-column page. This site https://danikabs.com/ does it on the right-hand side, where one picture moves in from the left upon scrolling.
I’ve looked at tutorials, but I can’t figure out how to apply this effect at the top of a page with two columns.
Hope that made sense—haha! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is fairly easy!
Just design everything as it were a single column (a regular page), set all your content and animations as you prefer. I would suggest using vertical navigation (stack pages vertically)
To add the “second column”, you simply need to to design it (with shapes and whatnots) and fix its position to the left side of the screen (use left-center point). Make the widget above pages so it stays around even as you scroll through all pages.
For the famous horizontal animation effect, you can use presets as there is a basic one there—although you will still need to add more steps to it you want to make it your own.
