Embed large GIF's & Dropbox hosting img's vids

How can I embed Animated Gif’s larger than 6mb (without turning them into a movie)?
→ Then can these Gif’s be hosted on DropBox? Or is there a better place to host Gifs which are embedded?
----> Other than Vimeo / YouTube is there a good place (say DropBox) where I can host & embed my video’s to be embedded via iFrame (or is there a better way to embed than iFrame)?
Any insight is very welcomed. thx.

you could host the gif or videofiles on your own server. (where you have bought your domain) and implement them as pure html into RM.
This would be the slickest solution though.

Therein lies the problem as I don’t have server space anymore as the domain names are all that is necessary with web builders such as readymag – years ago when I was building HTML and Flash sites from scratch I would have both the server space and the domain names from the same company but as the world started moving to builders such as R/M, Cargo and Squarespace the server became all but obsolete and now I don’t have anywhere for the very small handful of video’s and images I occasionally need to host… Which is why I started this here topic

Hey there!
Embedding GIFs larger than 6MB directly can be tough. Instead of Dropbox, try Giphy or Imgur. They handle larger GIF sizes well and offer easy embedding options with links or HTML codes. These platforms are great for sharing GIFs on websites and forums. Check them out for a smoother embedding experience.

Thanks for the recommendation re: Giphy or Imgur… It would appear that they don’t have paid accounts which also means that from what I can tell I can’t define a private gif to only be embedded on my site, or am I mistaken?
