Dropbox video embedding down

We’re sorry to report that Dropbox video embedding doesn’t work for Readymag users right now.

This is an issue on the Dropbox side, and we’re talking with them to resolve.
The issue affected embedding to all third-party platforms, not only Readymag.

In the meantime, you can reupload your video via YouTube, Vimeo or Google Drive.

Dropbox video embedding is available again.

Chrome seems to have problems with displaying embedded dropbox videos. It works in Safari and Firefox. Any solutions to fix the Chrome problem?

Hello! Dropbox embedding might still be unstable for some users :frowning:

We can suggest using other video platforms that offer an embed code. Another option is to add videos from YouTube or Vimeo via the Video widget.

Hello Readymag team!

Is there a way to have video on autoplay without sound and without any branded ui?
So i’m usign these kind of assets quiet often (for example now it is a video mockup for my portfolio).

Currently i’m ebedding with code from cloudinary, but it’s not working stable. Also, would be great to have some kinda guides on optimal video sizes and formats (maybe webm would be a better choice) and sizes of video for shots widget. for proper work of widget (when uploading to shots more then 5mb it has a strobe effect).

thanks

Hello! On paid plans, you can add videos from other platforms that offer an embed code. For example, some of our users upload videos through Google Drive.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that this is a 100% stable option as it involves a third-party tool.
