Widget Disappearing but shown on published site

My website has been experiencing a widget glitch since yesterday afternoon. The widget which redirected viewers to the home page disappeared after testing to pin it and then unpinning. I added a new one thinking the previous one had been deleted, and now the old one appears on the published website but not on the layers, and the new one appears on both.

I have searched the entirety of the edit space for the old widget, and the layers as well, and it is nowhere to be found. I refreshed my computer, restarted my browser, and still no change on my end.

Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hi Carolina!

What widgets do you use? Is that the Code widget with some JS code for the page redirect?

Have you tried to delete the new one, to see if that changes anything?

Also, could you share a link to the published site and the custom code (if you use one)? It can help to figure out what went wrong. You can message the details to me if you don’t want to make them public.

I also suggest reaching out to support at support@readymag.com

Hi!

Thank you for responding! The widget is just a regular button preset that has a link to the first page of the site, no code added on my part. I have the new one omitted so the old one is the only one coming up in the browser, just not in edit or preview mode.

The site is: httpscarolinaorta.xyz

I have contacted support three times, no response yet sadly. So I had to stick all my top menu buttons to the top and a menu rectangle overlay to hide the glitch until they do.

I would try duplicating the page, so you have a backup. Remove the widget on the live page - publish. Then try adding the widget back to the live page and publish again. Check on a seperate browser to see if it works. David
