Hey team, I’m a bit stumped on this one. I’ve created a website for a client who has their business in New Zealand. I am a New Zealander too but I just moved to Australia and so I created the website here in Aussie. For some reason when they google the website title they don’t have the site pop up for them, but when I do it here in Aussie it comes up as the first or second option. I’ve done all the SEO settings, we’ve tried searching the website in different browsers, on mobile, different computers, even had family in New Zealand try searching for it too and nothing. I wondered if anyone had any ideas on what I can do to resolve this issue? Thanks!
Hey, I think it might be a location issue with Google. Since you’re in Australia, it’s showing results based on your location. I’d suggest setting the target country to New Zealand in Google Search Console. Also, make sure the site content mentions NZ clearly. Hopefully, that helps the site show up better for users in NZ.
