One of the fonts we’re using in our project is Times New Roman, which is a system font. Our custom uploaded font works perfectly fine across all browsers, but Times New Roman doesn’t load properly — for example, it fails to render in in-app browsers and even on some Android Chrome browsers.
This causes serious layout issues because text boxes get cut off when the fallback font loads instead.
Readymag support advised me to switch to another font, but unfortunately that’s not an option for this project.
My question:
Would it be a good idea to upload Times New Roman as a custom font to ensure consistent rendering?
Or is there any other workaround to make system fonts like this display reliably across devices?
