Hey, first post here, I’ve been using Ready Mag for a landing page for some months now, pleased with my user friendly experiences so far. But as I continue to build and add to my web presence, I thought I’d give the forums a try with troubleshooting some of my woes.
So I’ve been changing my PC Desktop’s orientation to that of Portrait instead of the default Landscape. I’m liking it so far, but when I decided to do some web surfing to my domain hosted with Readymag my transitions for my slide show are stuck on the first image, my logo doesn’t appear, it just kind of stays static. Wondering if this issue is fixed by toggling or making any changes on the backend? I know I can just change back to landscape, but coming from a visitor standpoint I’d like some support on how to optimize this for a landing page.
Readymag only provides the option to create a Desktop layout for desktop devices (meaning it will be landscape, of course). I can’t put my finger on what you mean by portrait mode on the desktop. Is it working on the Mobile/tablet layout?
Yes indeed, there is a way to do this on PC, although it’s more recommendable if you have a rotating screen which I do. Attached are some examples, along with my error page.
My shop layout seems to work but my landing page is just static and uninteractive.
Thanks for the shout,
here’s to hoping there is a solution
cheers
Well, to my understanding, the desktop layout will always be presented to you provided you are viewing the site through a desktop/laptop device (mobile layout if from phone, etc.) I don’t think there is a way to force/change that.
