Is there a way to deactivate solid color bar behind safari search bar?

hello,

i am currently in the process of creating the mobile layout for my website.
is it possible to get rid of the solid color bars behind the searchbar on safari?
i want my website (left) to be displayed in full screen on iOS like in the example provided on the attached screenshot (right) - would be grateful for any feedback on this!

edit: upon researching i have found out that stacking pages vertically will solve this specific issue - however i am not stacking pages vertically on my project. makes me hopeful that this issue can be solved though

for anyone researching this topic for their own project:

sadly it is not possible to make the statusbar and toolbar transparent on ios safari, using the horizontal page layout in readymag.

i am using custom code in my project for a page transition effect which caused the statusbar at the top and the toolbar at the bottom to be displayed in two different colors, which I have fixed by setting the true page theme color to black (again, using custom code). this is a compromise which i am fine with (for now)
