Does anyone know if there’s a way I can stack some pages vertically but then only have access to other pages through buttons and links? Or any way to work around that and get the same effect?
Navigation settings apply to the whole project, not individual pages. In your case, I would suggest not stacking pages; next, when you need a large vertical section, just enlarge the page long enough to cover that. This way, you get the best of both worlds.

Mmm, the only other workaround I can think of is, if you are on the advanced plan and have access to iframes, then you could embed a project within a project. The embedded project can be set with stacked pages, and the project where you include the iframe code can be set to have pages working individually. It may sound complex, but it is actually quite simple.
