I recently published a site with a custom domain and created screen size specific layout versions (desktop, tablet, and mobile). The mobile version won’t publish or at least is not viewable, when I visit the website, I only see a blank black screen. I’ve searched possible causes (embedded code, elements off the viewport, hidden widgets, incompatible widgets, etc), none of these are issues for my site. I’ve even tried deleting the mobile layouts completely to have it serve up the desktop version instead just to see if it would, and even that returned a blank page/site. Has anyone else experienced this? Appreciate any insights, thoughts, solutions, etc. Thanks!
I’ve not had blank screen but my website code blocks are looking on in the mobile preview mode but not on the actual mobile (iphone 14 pro max). Have you got anywhere with this problem you’re having?
Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to resolving this. I ended up having to cancel my subscription for a refund since their refund window is only 24 hours and I wasn’t able to get any tech support in that time. I couldn’t risk this being an unresolvable issue since the majority of my traffic comes from mobile. Best of luck getting your issue sorted!
Ok thats a shame. Thanks for letting me know. I was using Squarespace but I found their platform very limiting. I may look at others now. The problem is you don’t know what they are are going to be like until you’ve actually tried them properly. best of luck!
i felt the same about squarespace which is how/whey I ended up discovering Readymag, but ultimately went back to Squarespace for reliability reasons. If Readymag had a longer refund window, I would have gladly stuck with them to see if I could resolve the issue but 24 hours just wasn’t enough time. Good luck!
I’ve stuck with Readymag and to be honest I find it does work well for me, had a few issues at first but overall I like how easy it is to use. Have a look at my site let me know what you think. I like to get some honest feedback! Thanks David
