Make a Slideshow a Link

I’m trying to make a a slideshow which is set to ‘play on hover’ a link to another page.

Is there a way to do this with custom code?

Hi! I want to use a slideshow widget where each picture has a link to another page on the internet I’m trying to add code, but it doesn’t work P.S. I don’t remember what I tried to write in the code anymore

you can start from there and try to adress not the images inside the slideshow, but the whole parent slideshow widget and set a link onto this. Use the dev-tools of your brwoser to inspect and finde the id/class of the slideshow-element.
