You might find this tutorial helpful: it goes into detail about creating a menu with Hotspots, and it covers mobile versions as well.
I also want to make sure the text scales with the box, as currently when I scale the shape/box, the text stays the same.
You can apply animations to texts, too: simply select the text box and open animation settings on the right.
