My custom cursor for my site suddenly stopped working today after a year or so of no problems. I’ve tried reuploading both my default cursor PNG and pointer PNG multiple times, but no luck. I tried an incognito browser and clearing my cache, as well as opening it on a completely different computer.
Now, it only shows the pointer cursor PNG and then the cursor disappears after hovering over elements a few times.
Has anyone else seen this behavior? Is this a known bug or something I might be missing? Any ideas on how to fix it?
The same happened to me. I checked with the support team, and they acknowledged this as a current issue. It might take them a couple of days (as this is definitely not a code-red bug), but they should get it patched rather shortly, I would say.
I’m having the same issue - the cursor shows up in the preview, but even after republishing and replacing the image, it doesn’t show up on the live site. Glad to know support is aware of the issue.
The issue with custom cursors not displaying correctly on live projects has now been fixed. If you were seeing the pointer cursor appear in the wrong state or disappear after interaction, that behavior should no longer occur.
There’s no need to reupload your assets or republish your project—everything should work as expected now.

I’ve encountered this problem as well. Custom cursor works (most of the time), but pointer doesn’'t - during editing and after I publish it as well. Should I contact support about it?
