# Video background and videos not working

Hi both the video background and video widget are not working properly for me
the videos do not play either in the video widget or the background
also, in preview mode the background static image does not show, just blankspace, but on the live site the video image shows but the video does not play.
it was working last night
thoughts?

same for me. just did a test project to see if it might related to the project, but the test project with just one video pßlaced has the same issues, just not playing

Same here! They started working again for half of a second and then went back to being static. @Readymag do you know what’s going on?

Same for me, uploaded videos are not working. it just shows a static of the first frame of the video.

Hey everyone!!! hope you guys have super positive energy out there anyway yeah i emailed support and they said its a bug in their system, they will sort it out!! [just gotta wait a few days i’m thinking]

YES!!! everything working now, they sent an email last night like at 2 am my time lol and I checked this morning everything is working including background vid and widget on both live and preview. Hope its working on your guys end!! have a great day and build some cool sites!!!

hi i know its been a while but i was just wondering if this issue has come up again? because i seem to be facing a similar problem right now
