# System font (Times New Roman) not displaying properly on some browsers

Hi everyone,

One of the fonts we’re using in our project is **Times New Roman** , which is a system font. Our **custom uploaded font** works perfectly fine across all browsers, but Times New Roman doesn’t load properly — for example, it fails to render in **in-app browsers** and even on some **Android Chrome** browsers.

This causes serious layout issues because **text boxes get cut off** when the fallback font loads instead.

Readymag support advised me to switch to another font, but unfortunately that’s not an option for this project.

👉 **My question:**  
Would it be a good idea to **upload Times New Roman as a custom font** to ensure consistent rendering?  
Or is there any other workaround to make system fonts like this display reliably across devices?
