Does anyone know how the Lightbox image gallery is ordered?

Hey David,
The Lightbox functionality wasn’t originally designed to display images in a specific sequence, — so the order is influenced by a set of technical factors. For example, the image’s position within the layout or the order in which it was created can affect the display order. Hope this helps clarify things!

Could you provide some concrete information about how they are ordered? Thank you

in general, images try to follow the order based on their positioning on the X and Z axes, but this isn’t always consistent in more complex layouts

if you need precise control over the order, the **slideshow** widget might be a better alternative
