# Is there any free software to split large pst files?

After doing research for finding software to split large pst files.  
I found Kernel for PST Split tool the most efficient as it allows you to split PST files by size, date range, or sender email address. You can also select specific folders, which is helpful when you want to organize particular parts of your mailbox.

Yes, there is a split large PST files for free by simply creating another PST file without using Outlook and placing your emails or folders in it. Trying the manual approach, but moving mailboxes containing folders manually could take quite some time, particularly with attachments.  
If you want to split your PST file by size, year, sender, or folder, using a separate tool for splitting PST would be more convenient.
